Doris A. Russell's Obituary
Doris A. Russell, 73, of Inola, Oklahoma went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 22, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, October 27, 2016 at the Floral Haven Rose Chapel, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, with burial to follow at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Floral Haven Funeral Home from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM. Doris was born on March 14, 1943, in Scranton, Arkansas, the daughter of Herman and Bertha (Stephens) Hammock. On July 22, 1960, she married Fred E. Russell in Long Beach, California. They enjoyed 56 wonderful years of marriage together. She is survived by her husband, children; Pamela Kruse, and her husband, Paul, of Las Vegas, Nevada, Allen “Rusty” Russell, and his wife, Janet, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Tracey Russell, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, thirteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, siblings; Shirley Cordle, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Archie Hammock, and his wife, Mary Beth, of Claremore, Oklahoma, Ricky Hammock, and his wife, Julie, of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Joe Hammock, and his wife, Lindia, of Verdigris, Oklahoma, and Karen Monks, and her husband, Bruce, of Stigler, Oklahoma, and numerous other extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Janie Hammock. Memorial donations may be made in Doris’ name to the American Cancer Society, 4110 S 100th East Ave Ste 101, Tulsa, OK 74146.
