Dorothy Bernice Carroll's Obituary
Dorothy Bernice Carroll was born to William Felix McNair and Clora Jane (Sisco) McNair on March 3, 1918 and passed into eternal rest in our Lord July 4, 2012. She was one of 12 children (6 boys and 6 girls). The family lived up above Osage, AR and Dorothy attended school at Dog Branch and Shady Grove, AR. Dorothy met Louie Carroll at Valley Springs, AR in September 1936 (Dorothy was 19 & Louie 18). They dated until September 26, 1937 when they married at Everton, AR. They raised their two children in Tulsa, OK. Louie passed from this life in November 1975 at the age of 56. Dorothy was also predeceased by brothers, Sherman, Oscar, Bill, and J.D. McNair; 2 stepbrothers; sisters, Verna Newman, Vina Ohler, Ruby Hand and Mabel Bartlett. She is survived by a brother, Cecil (Pete) McNair and a sister, Leoma Morris; son and daughter-in-law, David and Mary Carroll; daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Roger Norman; grandchildren, Ronda Savage, Cheri Mays and Mike Carroll with their spouses; great grandchildren, Ryan Savage, Tyger Grass, Cassidy and Madison Mays, Abigail, Hannah & Jacob Carroll and bringing up the end of the list is Alexis and Trent Grass. Visitation will be held 2:00-9:00 PM Monday, July 9, 2012 at Floral Haven Funeral Home and Funeral Services will be 12:30 PM Tuesday, July 10, 2012 Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.
