Dorothy L. Ward, 86, passed from this life on July 26, 2013 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Dorothy was born on January 21, 1927 in Sand Springs, Oklahoma to Thomas Andrew and Ollie (Miller) Neal. She met and married Roy B. Ward on August 18, 951 and they shared 61 memorable years together. She retired from the Sun Oil Company Accounting Department. Dorothy is survived by her loving husband, Roy Ward; children, Bradford Lee Ward and wife, Belinda, Randy Gene Ward and wife, Elizabeth, and Debra Patton and husband, Edward, and David Ray Ward; 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and brothers, Ray Neal and “Buddy” Neal. She was preceded in death by her son, Roy Allen Ward; parents ; 2 sisters and 4 brothers. Visitation will be held Monday, July 29, 2013 from 2:00-8:00 PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home and services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at First Baptist Church of Turley. The family has requested that guests do not wear black clothing but rather bright colors as that was Dorothy’s wishes.
