Watson, Dorothy May's Obituary
Reflection of Dorothy’s Life
On July 6th, 1945, a beautiful baby girl was born to Mildford Mayberry and Catherine Reed. They named her Dorothy May Mayberry, and family and friends called her “Dot”. She was reared in life by her step father, Willie Jefferson.
Dorothy graduated from Dunbar, and she worked in the medical field for many years.
Dorothy was an amazing mom, grandmother, and friend. She was the kind of person who would help others in any way she could. She loved spending time with her family and relatives. Her favorite thing she loved to do is go to the casino and smoke her cigarettes.
She met and married Kenneth Watson, and some years later, that ended, and she met Kenneth Miller, and was common law married till his death.
Dorothy was greeted at the gates of glory by her husband, Kenneth Miller, parents, Milford Mayberry and Catherine, and Willie Jefferson, her 1st grandson, Darien Hildreth, her sisters Sherry Jefferson-Johnson and Ruby Reed, and Esther Mayberry, one brother, Theopolis Mayberry.
She leaves to cherish her memory her three sons, Delbert Mayberry (Leslie), Herbert Johnson and Daren Hildreth; two daughters, Yolonda Moore and Laketa Miller; step daughters, Kimberly Miller and Kathy Miller; ten grandchildren, Candance Johnson (Lawrence), Keanna Miller, Jared Hildreth, Dominque Briggs, Shalonda Moore, Marquis Houston (Atlantis), Kyle Mayberry, Delbert Mayberry Jr, Karma Meadow, and Dominiqua Daniels; great-grandchildren, Carter Johnson, Erionna Reed, Cehvyn Wilson, Eriane Reed, Khalil Watts, Avamae Briggs, Audrey Briggs, Damarrins Daniels Marquis Houston III, Wynter Sharea Houston, and Lily Houston; three sisters, Princella Humprey, Willie Mae Jefferson, and Juanita Purify (Johnny); brother, Lee Mayberry; and host of nephews, nieces, and Cousins.
