DORTHY EARLEEN CARTMILLAfter a long illness, Dorthy Earleen went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 31, 2012. Earleen, or Kim as she was later known, was born in 1937 to William Earl and Enola Brown in Sapulpa , OK.She graduated from Central High School in Tulsa in 1955, and was active on the reunion committee for many years.Earleen married James K. Sullivan in 1961, with whom she had two sons and a daughter.She was employed by Gulf Oil among other oil companies, and by Reading and Bates, where she met her future husband, John C. Cartmill. They married in 1982, and enjoyed 30 wonderful years traveling the world, spending time at the lake, and most of all, time with their family.She was a member of TGGA, Children’s Day Nursery, Red Hat Society, and Cedar Ridge Christian Church.She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Bill Brown, sister Charleen Denney, her sons, Sean Sullivan and Timothy Sullivan, and her husbands, James K. Sullivan and John C. Cartmill. She is survived by her daughter, Jamie Fitzgerald and her husband Roy of Albuquerque, her Stepdaughter Cathy Powers and her husband Ed, of Muscle Shoals, AL, stepson Patrick Sullivan of Southaven MS, stepdaughter Deidre Cartmill of Broken Arrow, OK. and daughter-in-law Susie Sullivan-Steiner of Tulsa. She also leaves behind 9 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews who were the loves of her life.Donations may be made to the American Lung Association..
