Oh Mr. Scott....I still tell stories of him today. Recently actually. Each time I get out my great, or great-great grandfather’s (can’t remember which) violin, I remember at the end of class, on many occasions, Mr. Scott asking if he could play it. He said it was a “fiddle”, not a “violin”. He loved its sound. See, I was not from OK but from Louisiana. He truly made me feel welcome and was truly one of the best teachers I ever had and a man whom I will never forget. He made class fun and I learned so much from him.
Why I’m just now here: My 8 year old wanted to see my middle school yearbooks...they are at another house so I searched the internet and found the news about Mr. Scott on a Facebook Memorial page.
My heart goes out to the family. I know he will be forever missed. He will also be forever loved by sooooo many.
Many blessings,
