Sharon, We are so sorry..We just heard of Doug's passing. You and Doug have such a deep place in my heart. I will never forget the many good times we had together and even the not so good times. He was a great guy who I have nothing but fond memories of. Sorry for your loss, he will be missed by all the people who's lives he made better. I will always remember his usual response to anyone that said something he did not believe " yeah, and I'm a Chinese aviator". I was proud to call him my friend.
Doug was without a doubt one of the most colorful personalities I ever had the pleasure to know. Underneath his tough appearance was one of the nicest individuals I have ever encountered. Doug and Sharon have always gone out of their way to be gracious and giving to myself and my family. I have told a ton of Doug Jones stories through the years and never tried to hide whom I was talking about, especially if they knew Doug. My dear Sharon, I felt such great sorrow when I learned of Doug's death.
