Doyl Dean West's Obituary
Doyl Dean West, a resident of Tulsa, passed away July 23, 2017 at the age of 75. He was born November 12, 1941 to Vinus West and Thelma (Smith) West in Pryor, Oklahoma. Doyl was CEO of Matrix, Inc and living life for Christ the majority of his life. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinal Fan and attended many of his grandkids sporting events and other activities. He enjoyed traveling, golf, fishing, bird hunting but most of all he loved spending time with his family. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.He was preceded in death by his parents, Vinus and Thelma West; brother, Raymond West and sister, Carolyn Johnson.Survivors include his loving wife of almost 50 years, Donna West; daughter, Tina Everett and husband, Tom of Owasso; daughter, Shelly IL-Defonzo of Sperry; son, Gary West and wife, Lisa of Bixby; daughter, Tara Funck and husband, Mark of Bixby; eleven grandchildren; four great grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 25, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Floral Haven Funeral Home in Broken Arrow.Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at Arrow Heights Baptist Church with Bob Green officiating. Burial will follow the service at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, Garden of St. Paul.
