Doyle Leon Huff's Obituary
Doyle Huff age 68, died of a heart attack on Friday morning, January 13, 2006, at his home in Bixby, Oklahoma at 12:10 P.M. He lived a full happy life with his wife Sue and two children James and Jody. He especially loved to spend time among his grandchildren: Daniel, Tyler, Braden and Kaleb. He was an accomplished wood worker and musician. Among his many accomplishments he was the first inductee to the Southeast Kansas Steel Guitar Hall of Fame and was on the board of directors of the Oklahoma Steel Guitar Association. He was well loved and respected by his friends, family, and everyone that knew him. He was very proud of his family and we are all very proud to call him Husband, Dad, Poppy, Friend. We all love and miss him terribly. Funeral service was held at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel, 3:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 17, 2006, immediately followed by interment in the Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, and a reception at the Floral Haven Family Service Center.Survived By: loving wife of the home: Mary Sue, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; children: Jody Lynn Crowl and husband, Michael, Bixby, Oklahoma, James Leon Huff and wife, Lori, Tulsa, Oklahoma; unofficial adopted son and daughters: Chris Barger, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Jessica Tipps, Bixby, Oklahoma, and Amber Ruszenas, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Daniel Scott Crowl, Tyler Lee Crowl, Braden Michael Crowl, Kaleb James Huff, and Jordon Wade Tipps; 3 brothers and 1 sister: Marvin “Jum” Huff and wife, Jeanie, Corpus Christie, Texas, Dorothy Burris and husband, Elmer, Topeka, Kansas, Keith Huff and wife, Nancy, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and Gayle Huff and wife, Carolyn, Parsons, Kansas; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends
