Dustin Trey Vance's Obituary
Dustin Trey Vance “D”, 28, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, was tragically taken from us on Saturday, September 14, 2024. Born on January 29, 1996, in Pasadena, Texas, Dustin lived a life full of love, laughter, and adventure.
Dustin is survived by his loving parents, Melissa and Mike Barrientes of Tulsa, Jeff and Stacy Vance of Arkansas, and Nikki Jones. He was engaged to Kirsten Denay Jones of Tulsa, who brought immense joy to his life. He leaves behind his cherished son, Kaidyn Monolito King Vance, and Kaidyn’s mother, Chaisse Ivy of Tulsa.
Dustin’s grandparents, Buddy Wilborn (AZ), Hope Evans (San Antonio), Juan Torres (San Antonio), and Lorenzo and Yolanda Barrientes (San Antonio), will forever hold his memory close. He is also survived by his uncles and aunts: Matt and Heather Vance, and Parker (AZ); Mark and Brittany, and Madison, Caleb Vance (TX); Joe and Lauren, and Kenny Vance (TX); and Sandra Aguayo (San Antonio), Pamela Torres and children, Hadrianna, Haven, Bella, and Jacob, Ashley and Charles, Villareal and Children Sophia and Hailey. His siblings, Paislee Vance (Tulsa); Brandon, Taylor, and Warren Vance (Arkansas); O’Rion Vance (Arkansas); Gunnar, Stephanie, Ronnie, and Harper Vance (Amarillo); Dani and Brandon Polinsky (Nebraska); Jackson Vaughn (Nebraska); and Janae Vance (Arkansas), will miss him dearly.
He is reunited with Sheila (Nana) Wilborn, Sandy (Granny) Gleisner, and Wally (Grandpa) Vance.
A proud graduate of Broken Arrow High School, Dustin was known for his dedication to his family and his many talents. He was a landscaper, tower climber, and musician, always striving to excel in everything he did. Dustin’s passion for life was evident in his hobbies, which included spending time with his son and family, riding motorcycles, mountain biking, tower climbing, coaching, swimming, playing all sports, making music, and online gaming.
Dustin was as funny as he was smart, a true family man and protector. He was great at everything he tried, except roller skating, which he approached with his characteristic humor and determination. His legacy as a father, coach, and friend will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Dustin’s life was a testament to his spirit and love for those around him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
