Dwayne Allen Duran Dwayne Allen Duran, 40, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, February 14, 2011. He was born July 13th, 1970, in Grants, New Mexico. Dwayne grew up and attended school in Claremore, OK. He earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1993 from Northeastern State University, in Tahlequah, OK, graduating with Cum Laude honors. Dwayne was a successful State Farm Agent in the Tulsa area. During his tenure as an agent Dwayne had many achievements, including Eagles Club Awards, Ambassador Travel and Member of Senior Vice President's Council based on high levels of production. He enjoyed bik- ing and working out. Dwayne is survived by his wife of 20 years, Cheryl, his daughter Haley and his son Kyle, all of Tulsa. His mother and step father, Patsy and Thomas Galcatcher of Chelsea, his brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Gloria Duran, of Zuni, New Mexico, his sister and brother-in-law, Lori and Lee Newton of Bartlesville and younger brother, Sean, of Chelsea, along with 17 nieces and 8 nephews. A service in his memory will be held at 12:30 pm, on Saturday, February 19th, 2011, at Floral Haven Chapel in Broken Arrow, OK. Condolences may be left at floralhaven.com
