Dwyight Odeal Scott was born November 22, 1946 and died on August 16, 2018. Services will be held at Crosstown Church of Christ in Tulsa, Ok at 9:00 Tuesday morning, August 21st.The burial will follow at Floral Haven in Broken Arrow. Please join family and friends for a celebration lunch at Floral Haven Family Center from 11-1. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 20th, from 4-8 at Floral Haven Funeral Home.Dwyight was born in Chickisha, Oklahoma to D.C and Annie Lee Scott. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ralph Edward. He is survived by his children, Missy Downer and Chris Scott; grandchildren Kaiya Downer and Colton Downer; his sister, Betty Lavaughn O’Banion, and brother, Solan Carl Scott.Dwyight faithfully served his country through service in Vietnam. He was a career mechanic with a love for friends and family. He was adored by his grandchildren, and was often seen throwing a baseball or attending a Daddy Daughter Dance. He had amazing friends in the Alcoholics Anonymous community who supported him for over twenty years of his life. A sincere follower of Christ, Dwyight awaits the rest of his family in heaven.
