Earl Gene Crouch's Obituary
Earl Gene Crouch, 85 age years old, passed from this life on August 6, 2015. Earl was born May 4, 1930, to Olan and Loretta (Patterson) Crouch, in McAlester, Oklahoma. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service in McAlester, Oklahoma. He served in the Korean Conflict and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. For many years, he was a Deacon of Ranch Acres Baptist Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mr. Crouch strongly believed in and loved God first and his family and his country, too. He loved writing and in 2007 published a book about God’s words called “Did You Know?” He loved tinkering in his saw shop where he sharpened knives, scissors and lawn mower blades. Mr. Crouch was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was a strong man who comforted, advised and provided for and kept his family close and unconditionally, loved them all. Earl is survived by his loving wife: Allene; son: James Earl Crouch; daughters: Deborah Snyder and Michelle Inlow and her husband, Johnny; grandchildren: Mike Crouch and wife, Melinda, Laura Parker and husband: Heath, Jeromy Crouch and wife, Jennifer, Dustin Moyer and wife Amanda, Robert Franklin Mann and wife, Regina, and Stephen Butler; 22 greatgrandchildren: and 2 on the way; sister: Mildred Crouch; and niece: DeeDee and husband, Wayne Taylor. Earl is preceded death by his parents; 2 great-grandchildren: Hailey and Hunter Mann; brothers: Joe Crouch, Glen Crouch, and John Crouch; and sister and brother-in-law: Oletta and Paul Bailey. Visitation will be held 4:00 p.m. ~ 8:00 p.m.. Sunday, August 9, 2015, Floral Haven Funeral Home Visitation Room, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. A celebration of life funeral ceremony will be held 1:00 p.m., Monday, August 10, 2015, Ranch Acres Baptist Church, 32nd and Jamestown in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Interment will follow the service, at 2:30 p.m., at the Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
