Earl Evans' Obituary
Earl Edward Evans, 89, passed away March 30, 2017 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born March 8, 1928 in Tulsa. He was the youngest of five children born to William and Sarah Evans.He graduated from Will Rogers High School in 1946. After high school, he joined the U.S. Marine Corp where his talent of working on cars was utilized by keeping the motor pool running. He was proud of his service to his country and proud to be a Marine!After his term in service, Earl returned to Tulsa to continue his passion with cars at the Cadillac Agency.He met and married Mary Lee Rogers and they had three daughters, Teresa, Pamela, and Marsha.In 1968, Earl discovered another passion… Grand Lake. He loved spending the 4th of July at the lake entertaining his family and friends. He continued to work and retired from Thomas Cadillac dealership after 44 years of service- never having missed a day due to illness!He later met his dear companion and friend, Dene Beesley. Together they pursued their love of Grand Lake and spent their retirement years together.He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Allen Evans; sisters Edna Self, June Fain, and Margarette Rice; and best friend and cousin Jack Brady.He will be dearly missed by his loving daughters, five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, his loving companion Dene and their sweet dog Misty.Visitation will held at Floral Haven Funeral Home on Monday, April 3, from 5 pm – 8 pm. Funeral services will take place at Floral Haven Chapel on Tuesday, April 4, at 3 pm.
