Earl AJ McNatt Sr.'s Obituary
Earl AJ McNatt Sr., went to be with his wife of 68 years, Rosella Jean, May 25, 2018 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Earl McNatt was born November 22, 1928 in Bunch, Oklahoma to James and Mary McNatt. Earl was raised in Oakhurst and West Tulsa, where he met and married the woman of his dreams, Rosella Jean Seabolt in 1949. Together the couple raised six children. Earl was a hard worker. He worked delivering ice and also worked delivering milk for a local milk company. He had several other odd jobs in order to meet the needs of his growing family. In July 1951 he went to work for Consolidated Deliveries where his oldest brother worked. Odis, known as Big Mac and Earl was know as Little Mac. In the early to mid 1980’s , Consolidated closed their doors. Earl moved on to work for Tulco Service for 7-8 years. When Tulco closed, Earl worked for himself as a contract laborer. He was so proud of that paycheck, just knowing he could still do the work! His family was so proud of him! Earl retired at the age of 62, a few short years later Rosella retired. They were always traveling at a nonstop pace, until Rosella became ill. Earl was always caring for his mom and dad as well as his brothers and sisters. He was best known for his whistling and awesome smile. He not only filled his home with love, but the smell of Old Spice would fill the house after his morning showers. He was an excellent role model for his children and grandchildren.Earl is preceded in passing by his lovely wife, Rosella; his daughter, Teresa Clark; his father, James McNatt, of Sallisaw, OK; his mother, Mary Johnson, of Springdale, MO.; brothers, Odis and EJ McNatt; sisters, Nettie Mae Martinez, Ida Shafer and Bettie Shafer; all of west Tulsa and son-in-law, David Walden.Earl is survived by his five children, Barbara “Bobbie” Fry and her husband Keith of Cleveland, OK.; Glenda Lewis and her husband Frank of Tulsa, OK.; Diana Walden of Tulsa, OK.; Earl “Sonny” McNatt Jr. of Collinsville, OK.; Ricky McNatt and his wife Teri of Tulsa, OK; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.Today Earl is resting in the loving arms of his wife, Rosella.Visitation will be Thursday, May 31 from 5-7 p.m. at Floral Haven Funeral HomeFuneral Service will be 3:00 p.m., Friday, June 1 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel
