Earnie hired me at Willbros in 1979 and I worked with and for him until he retired in 1986. I found him to be an every day, all the time follower of Christ. In addition, he honored my expertise and ability to do my job successfully without imposing a "do-it-my-way" mentality on me. He instilled self-confidence and pride in accomplishments. He also was my friend and I loved seeing him at the Willbros "old-timers" luncheons. Always up-beat and never complaining. He was truly a family man and shared their interesting experiences with his co-employees. I have no negative memories of this unique and stately man. I will miss him very much. Kathy Mitchell
