Eddie Elliott's Obituary
Eddie Elliott – 100, passed away May 18, 2024 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; born February 12, 1924 in Albany, Missouri to Cleo Dewey Elliott and Marybelle Faden Elliott. Eddie graduated from Albany High School in 1942 and received a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Missouri at Kansas City. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II. In 1945, he married his high school sweetheart Helen Marjorie Elliott, who predeceased him in 2016. Eddie started his accounting career with Skelly Oil in Kansas City, Missouri and transferred to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1962. He retired from Texaco. Eddie is survived by daughter, Linda Elliott of Tulsa, Oklahoma; son, Larry Elliott of Branson, Missouri; daughter Lisa and husband Tom Nash of Broken Arrow; and two grandchildren, Lane Nash and Karly McNeill. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Charles Elliott and his sister Jeanne Bowen. The funeral service will be held Thursday, May 23, 2024 at 12:30 pm at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel with a graveside service following at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, 6500 S. 129th E. Ave., Broken Arrow, Oklahoma 74012. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made in memory of Eddie to the American Cancer Society or to a charity of one’s choice.
