Eddie Dewayne Tyler, 73, passed from this life on January 16, 2022, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Eddie was born September 12, 1948, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to John Henry and Juanita (Lovins) Tyler.
Eddie was a custodian for Tulsa Public Schools for about 24 years and a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Sand Springs.
Eddie is survived by his wife, Joyce Tyler; sons, Little Eddie Tyler and his wife Paula, Randy Tyler, Terry Tyler and his wife Lori, Bobby Tyler; step-son, Matt Goodenough; siblings, Clarence Tyler, Lucille Austin, and Mary Sparks; Grandchildren, Chelsea Hanson, Ashleigh Tyler, Devin Tyler, Abby Tyler, Brett Tyler, Destanie Tyler, Dillon Tyler, and Mandi Tyler; Thirteen Great-Grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Henry and Juanita Tyler; his brothers, Wade Tyler, Jimmy Tyler, and Johnny Eugene Tyler; step-son, Mike Goodenough.
Visitation will be 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday, January 24, 2022, Floral Haven Funeral Home, Broken Arrow. The funeral service will be1:00 PM, Tuesday, January 25, 2022, First Assembly of God Church, Sand Springs, and the committal service to follow at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
