When I was little and living next door, Edna would let me help her in the garden. I loved planting new flowers and I remember one day in particular, she had a flat of begonias. My job was to free the individual plants from the plastic trays and I thought it was nothing short of magical when they popped out perfect. The perfection didn't last though because Edna said you had to squeeze them a little bit to help free the roots after they'd been cramped for so long. As I left the service yesterday, what did I walk by? Flat after flat of begonias about to be planted there at Floral Haven. They made me smile. Edna was an incredible woman and I am blessed to have had her in my lifeâ??Kimberly R.
