Edna G. Hays, 98, Tulsa, OKEdna Gertrude Hays, 98, of Tulsa, OK, joined Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in Heaven, Wednesday, June 26, 2013.She was born August 29, 1914 in Overland Park, Kansas, the daughter of Leo Franklin Davis and Leila Maude Davis (nee Mills).Edna owned and/or worked in several restaurants in the Kansas City, Kansas area for many years.She attended Tulsa Wesleyan Church, in Tulsa, OK.She is survived by her daughter Leila Rae Vickers of Tulsa, and her son James Newton Hays of Scottsdale, AZ; her sister Marian Isabella Powers of Kansas City, MO; 8 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Franklin Henry Mills Davis and Leo Preston Dillon Davis.Funeral service will be held 10:00 am Monday, July 1, 2013, at Floral Haven Funeral Home. Burial will be at Floral Haven Cemetery, Veterans Field Extension I.
