Aunt Edna was one of the most positive individuals I have ever known always looking on the bright side of life. She was a great role model and mentor for how to live life and walk in the light. I will most remember her smile and carry my memories of her in a special place in my heart. Love Chad Winnett

My Aunt Edna was a great treasure to our whole family and especially to me. She and Uncle Ken took good care of all of us when we visited, which was very frequently, when we were kids. She and Ken even had some of us kids over for months at a time during the summer! The whole family, Edna, Ken, Pam and Greg were always a joy, with lots of fun (and funny) events happening all the time.
When I had my own family, many years later, they had us over several times. As always we had a wonderful time and my family cherishes every minute.
Edna was the kind of person whom you don’t often meet. She may be the kindest soul one could ever know. She was also funny and witty, and would “correct” us with something funny, that would make us re-think what we were doing when we were kids.
Sometimes we ask for God to bless somebody. God already blessed Edna.

Edna was always there for me. She lived with my mom and I before Ken and Edna were married. As pre-teen and teenager I spent my spring and summer vacations with them. they took us to the beach and we had beach parties and garage parties. After all it was the 60's. They were such fun loving and firm second parents. Edna was there when my parents were working. She was still a large part of my adult life. We talked almost weekly. My husband and I visited them on vacations.
I also came back for Ken and Edna's 50th anniversary celebration. what a wonderful week that was. Everyone was welcome. There were beds and sleeping bags everywhere. i would love to relive that week of family love once again.
My daughter and I came for one last visit before Ken passed. They told stories of my childhood, etc. My last trip was 4 years ago and we talked about everything under the sun. I could always ask Edna about anything. When my Mom passed 28yrs ago she helped fill the the void. Whenever I needed a boost or to be uplifted, just the sound of her voice did the job. She always was sunshine in my life.
I spoke to her a few days ago and told her she is now my guardian angel and the blessing in my life. She was truly an inspiration to us all.

Bill and Bob, her younger brothers always knew she had our wellbeing in her heart. After high school she went to work and helped to fill the financial holes in our lives that Mom and Dad weren't able to fulfill. She was a beautiful soul to everyone who knew her.
Bob and I always felt better about ourselves whenever we were around her. We will miss her more than we can put into words. We know she will go with God and have a joyful reunion with her beloved husband, Ken. We love you, Edna.
I will miss my daily phone calls . I still called her for cooking and recipe advice she was a true gift.
