I had one of life’s changing events. I met Ed on Sept 27 after answering an ad on Craigs list for a corvette Ed had posted. I called and talked to Ed he gave me the price of the car. I drove over to his residents. Ed sad I was offered a lot more than I told you I would take. He said I’m a man of my word and I told you that you could have it for that price. I thanked him and I said you can’t find anybody today who is good for their word but Ed said he was good for his word. My Dad was good for his word. Ed took me to a mini storage and we talked for about two hrs about life and his numerous stories about out running the cops in the car I bought he talked about High school and the many adventures in the 1968 corvette. We really hit it off the last time we spoke Ed assured me the car I bought would ride and drive. The car I bought was in a fire at Ed’s residents. A little gas a few new parts the car runs and drives fantastic. I feel really really lucky and blessed that I met Ed I know one thing for sure Ed was good for his word. I’m a better person for meeting him. I will keep the car until I’m gone. I will write a story in your memory. RIP Ed your car is safe with me until we meet again.
