Edward Ray Davidson was my grandfather. Unfortunatly, he died four days before I was born. My father (Darrin) always told me how he was so excited to see me. Whenever I see pictures or hear stories, I feel closer to him. I love you, grandpa.❤️
I met Eddie in junior high – we had gone to separate grade schools. I always admired him – really felt like we might be related – My Aunt Lilly, my Mom's sister, married Robert Davidson and lived in Aurora, Illinois all my life – I am so truly sorry for your loss. I lost my Dad when he was only 70 also – It is just too young.
I have wonderful memories of all the fun times our families had together when we were growing up. The Davidson's were so much fun! My heart goes out to Brian and Darrin at this very difficult time.

Eddie and are were best buddies in our pre-teen & early teen years, having first met in Webster grade school and eventually graduating from Henryetta HS together in 1958.We were in the same scout troop for several years, and attended many camps together. Especially memorable was the Canoe Trip into Canada we took in 1954! Also, a camp out 1 nite in Cedar Hollow (just the 2 of us) when we spent the nite in a pup tent in a pouring rain!Diagnosed with the same disease that took his life, I contacted him last year regarding treatment options, his experience, etc. We exchanged many e-mails on this subject. I have lost a dear childhood friend… John
