Edward Frank Sabatula's Obituary
E. Frank Sabatula, a resident of Broken Arrow, raised to eternal life on July 31, 2017 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 75. He was born December 6, 1941 in West Leisenring, PA to John G. and Julia Sabatula.Frank was a graduate of Uniontown High School, class of 1959. He served 8 years in the US Air Force, and was a Vietnam Veteran. He married the love of his life, Mary Huot on March 1, 1969 at the Duluth Air Base Chapel. They were devoted to each other for over 48 years. Frank was a 1985 graduate of Rhema Bible College, and Pastored a church in Austin, MN. He later worked for the City of Broken Arrow at the Community Center, for over 20 years, retiring in 2012. He was an example of a hard working man, who attained to excellence, and never complained. He was an active member of Rhema Bible Church, and was involved in the Nursing Home Ministry. Frank loved the outdoors, and was an avid sports fan, especially football. His greatest joy was spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, devoted father, and a proud grandfather. He lived his life for the Lord Jesus Christ with a strong faith, a love for people, and a gentle, kind spirit.He was preceded in death by his parents, John G and Julia Sabatula; brothers, John Sabatula and Eugene Sabatula and father-in-law, Warren Huot.Survivors include his loving wife, Mary Sabatula; children, Sharon Hoover and husband, Darren, Kristi Sabatula, Tracie Cook and husband, Bert, and Derek Sabatula; grandchildren, Evan Hoover and wife, Rachelle, Kara Hoover, Marcus, Jared and Mason Cook, Jordan Punches and wife, Becky, Jacey Punches, Morgan Sabatula and Madi Coventon; great granddaughter, Ari’Onna Cook; brothers, Ted, Ronald and Robert Sabatula; sisters, Irene Sabatula, Barbara Thompson and Sandra Valiante; mother-in-law, Gloria Huot; lifetime best friend, Joseph Marian; brother-in-laws, Jim and Bob Huot; sister-in-laws, Judy Anderson and numerous nieces and nephews.Memorial Services will be held Thursday, August 10, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Rhema Bible Church in Broken Arrow.
