Edward “Ed” Lee Cummings passed from this life on February 21, 2013 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Ed was born on March 29, 1940 in Bedford, Indiana to Ralph and Laura (Prather) Cummings. He was the President of Southwest Direct. Ed met and married Sharon Roberts on June 28, 1959 in Bedford, Indiana and they shared 53 memorable years together. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ruth Franklin; niece, Julia Cate; and nephew, Joel Franklin. He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Cummings; children, Steven Cummings and wife, Cindy, Tyra Cummings, and Rachel Biery and husband, Michal; 5 grandchildren, Megan Cummings, Adam Cummings, Zachery Biery and wife, Nicole, Laura Biery and Brandon Cummings; 5 great grandchildren, Isaiah Rowlodge, Osiana Rowlodge, Zacheriah Whiteshirt, Zaithan Whiteshirt, and Trygg Biery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in Ed’s honor. Visitation will be held from 11:00-12:50 PM Monday, 25, 2013 at Cedar Ridge Christian Church with Funeral services starting at 1:00PM following the visitation.
