Edward George McKinder's Obituary
Edward George Mckinder, 85, of Tulsa passed away on September 27th, 2021.
He was born September 20th, 1936 in Tulsa Oklahoma, to Ira “Mac” and Pauline Mckinder. Upon his graduation, he joined the Air National Guard. He also became a machinist with Dover Norris for 37 years until his retirement. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, spending time with his church family of Eastland Assembly of God, and spoiling his dog Zoe.
Edward was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Shirley Mckinder, and his siblings, Betty Redford, Sandy Morrison, and Judy Richardson
Edward is survived by his children: Tonya McKinder, and Tony McKinder; his grandchildren Summer Prater, April Garrett, and Spring McKinder; 13 great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends that will forever miss him.
Memorial service will be held at Eastland Assembly of God on October 9th at 1:00 p.m.
In Lieu of flowers, Edward has requested donations to be made to the Eastland Assembly of God.
