Edward (Ed) W. Cox, age 64, died unexpectedly December 1, 2011. Mr. Cox is survived by his three (3) sons: Brian, Kevin (Rebecca) and Mark; and his loving mother, Mary Cox. He also leaves behind three grandchildren, Colton, Reagan, and Carter. His father, Louis (Bill) Cox preceded him in death. Ed is a veteran of the Vietnam War, where he earned several medals and awards to include the Bronze Star and earned the rank of Sergeant. His success in business and in life can be directly attributed to his work ethic and his natural talent. His attention to detail was legendary. He took pride in the quality of his work and in everything he did. Ed always found time for family and friends even though he worked long hour's day after day. His passion in life was his family and friends, the New York Yankee's and golf, in that order. Ed never met a stranger and was known for helping anyone he came in contact with; the loss of Ed will leave a void in the hearts of his extended family and many, many friends. The discipline and patriotism he learned from his mother, father andin the Army never left him, as friends and family will attest. Services and interment will be held Monday at 3 p.m. at Floral Haven.
