Edwin Clayton Boyce
On Wednesday, November 11th, 2020, Edwin C. Boyce, loving husband and father of five children, passed away at age 91.
Edwin was born on May 18, 1929, in Tulsa, Ok. To Charles and Esther (Dudley) Boyce. He graduated from Tulsa Central High School in 1949. Edwin joined the Army in January of 1950, serving until December of 1952. On October 3, 1950 he married Thelma Lee Moore. Their marriage lasted 31 years, until her death in 1981. They raised 5 children together.
Edwin was a truck driver by occupation nearly all his adult life. He was known as a jokester by his peers, always trying to make someone laugh. He also liked to go camping with his family in his early adulthood. He tinkered with gardening as he got older, and had some ducks and rabbits to feed. He also had a beloved little Pomeranian: “Rosie”, that went with him nearly every where.
Edwin Married a second time to Alma Gladden . That union lasted until her death in 2015.
Edwin was preceded in death by his father Charley, and his mother, Esther. Also, his wife, Thelma Lee, his younger brother, John, and his second wife Alma. He is survived by his five children, Vicki, Butch, Chuck, Sandra, and Dan, as well as 10 Grandchildren and numerous Great Grandchildren.
