Edwin D. “Eddie” Cook, Sr., 78, of Tulsa, OK, died on September 9, 2014. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, on Saturday, September 13, 2014, at the Crosstown Church of Christ, 3400 E. Admiral Place, Tulsa, OK. Visitation will be held at Floral Haven Funeral Home from 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM on Friday, with family receiving friends from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM. Eddie was born in Tulsa, OK, on June 27, 1936, the son of Edwin and Agnes (Pitts) Cook. On November 23, 1990, he married his wife, Charlotte, in Broken Arrow, OK. He is survived by his loving wife, sons, Eddie D. Cook, Jr., and his wife, Patty, of Cleveland, OK, Kenneth Cook, and his wife, Dana, of Broken Arrow, OK, Jeff Cook, of Tulsa, OK, and Christopher Cook, of Tulsa, OK, grandchildren, Evan Cook, Anna Hall, Kayla Cook, Allen Cook, Austin Cook, David Cook, and Jake Cook, two brothers, William Cook, and his wife, Beryl, of South Fork, CO, and David Cook, and his wife, Heidi, of Broken Arrow, OK, and numerous other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and son, John Cook. Memorial donations may be made in Eddie’s name to the Crosstown Church of Christ Youth, 3400 E. Admiral Place, Tulsa, OK 74115.
