Elaine Alsup Hodges, age 79, a resident of Broken Arrow, OK passed from this life, Monday, January 20, 2025.
Elaine was born July 06, 1945 to Roy and Marjorie (Lee) Alsup in Sikeston, MO.
Elaine is survived by her sons, Barton Hodges and his wife Andrea, and their son Oliver of Fayetteville, AR; Jason Hodges and his wife Chris of Broken Arrow, OK; sister Doris Denbow and her husband Gary of Mason, OH; and brother, Roy Lee Alsup of Sikeston, MO.
She is predeceased in death by her partner, James (Jim) Keller of Sikeston, MO and her sister Shirley Alsup Newton, also of Sikeston, MO.
During her previous marriage to Lee Hodges, the family relocated frequently. However, she eventually found herself back in her hometown of Sikeston, MO in the early 2000s. Then, in 2021, she moved to Oklahoma to be closer to her sons after the passing of her partner.
Elaine will be remembered for her sweet smile, her gentle nature, and especially for her love of dolls. She was an avid collector and had a large collection of dolls that she loved, as well as her knack for repairing ones in need.
A celebration of her life is pending at this time.
