Funeral Service will be held Friday July 13, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Claremore, Oklahoma. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm -9:00 pm Thursday evening at the funeral home. Read Obituary
Aunt Elaine, you will be truly missed. Your strong work ethic was tempered by your playful sense of humor, and sarcastic wit. Always meticulously dressed, you were ready to go and do anything Uncle Dick would plan to do. Please hug my Dad, Stan Swander, when you get to heaven. You two earned your angel wings early! When we learned of Elaine's passing, I couldn't get Vince Gill out of my mind…."Go to heaven ashoutin' to the Father and the Son." Elaine's faith in God showed like a beacon, and the sicker she got, the brighter it got. What a beautiful person! I'm so happy she's with the Father, free of that cancer-ravaged body. Dick, we know your beautiful faith in God will get you through this. There will be times when you have to let Him carry you, and that's OK. God loves it when we have to admit we need Him. We're thinking of you, and you and the family are in our prayers. For Elaine, it's just prayers of thanksgiving! But, oh, how we will miss that smile and that laugh!.

I had the pleasure of working with Elaine for almost 40 years at Yuba and SPX heat transfer. She keep all the Engineers in line and on time but in a loving sister / mother way. She was a great person and I will miss her. Just good to know that she is now helping the angels the same way used to help the Engineers.
Dick and family: We are so sorry for your loss of Elaine! We were deeply shocked and sadden to learn of Elaine's passing! We grew up together in Glasco and her parents Emily & Marie and the kids lived just north of our farm and my parents Benton & Maxine Jones were good friends too! My husband, Jack Federline, worked with Elaine many years. She was always willing to help(and give him a hard time!!), but he spoke highly of her through the years. I enjoyed knowing her as well. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
Dick and her family: I am so sorry to hear of your loss. She was so sweet and so much fun to talk to over the years we did travel reservations for Yuba- 25 years. And I am so lucky to have met both Dick and Elaine at our World Travel events. She will be missed for sure.
