Elgie Ray Purdom, age 73, passed from this life Monday, April 30, 2018. Ray was born March 10, 1945, to Ray and Elnora (Hill) Purdom in Checotah, Oklahoma. Ray is survived by is great friend and companion of 7 years: Debbie Tomasetti; children: Robby Purdom, Susan, and Billie; grandchildren: Harleigh, Dillion, Morgan, and Ashley; great-grandson: Carter; brothers: Johnny Purdom and wife Nita, and Dane Sloan and wife Brenda; sisters: Pat Chaney and Ruth Ann Green; nieces and nephews: Tammy and husband Walter, Tina and husband Mike, Mike Sloan, Marcus Sloan and wife Ashley Melinda Bresett; grand-niece and nephew: Kendall and Taylor, several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. He is preceded in death by his parents; and sister: Linda Mae.Viewing will be held Sunday, May 6, 2018, 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM, at the Floral Haven Visitation Suites, Floral Haven Funeral Home, Broken Arrow, OK. A celebration of life funeral ceremony will be held Monday, May 7, 2018, 10:00 AM, at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
