What a privilege it has been having Elizabeth "Betsy" Baldwin as a grandmother. She was a welcoming, warm-hearted, educated and loving lady. She cared for our family, provided all of us with a great example and was understanding of all our paths in life. No matter the situations, she was always so proud of her family – her kids and her grandkids. In conversations, she would let you know all the many great things going on in everyone's life. She was very special – everyone says that but Betsy was different. She was very intelligent, witty, sarcastic and hip. She always kept up with the news, latest trends (fashion and other wise), an avid reader and movie enthusiast. I'm not talking like old books or black and white films – she knew the latest and greatest. She was hip to a point, where she could discuss actors, authors and upcoming releases. I always loved sitting down with her and listening to her reviews or thoughts on different things.Betsy was a giving person. She spent 365 days a year looking for things she just knew would be right for this person or that person. Her giving was from the heart and it's was personal – she just knew that gift or item was meant for you. People show love in many ways and one of her ways was in her generosity. She had a special talent for communicating. Her experiences, education and love for those around her made for great talks. She always wanted to hear the latest on my career and what was going on in my life. She was always supportive, in her eyes I could do anything I wanted.I will always remember Betsy, especially her smile and class. Our time spent in Bella Vista was my favorite, the memories will always be cherished.Chris Deal, grandson
