Elizabeth Beck's Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Elizabeth Mae Beck, a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished friend, who departed this life peacefully on 5/5/25. Elizabeth, aged 82, was married to her beloved husband, Jimmie Beck, for 53 beautiful years. Their bond was a testament to true partnership; where one was, the other was sure to be found. Together, they created a life filled with love, laughter, and the joy of raising their five wonderful children.
Elizabeth was a woman of remarkable depth and complexity, whose unwavering faith in Jesus was the cornerstone of her life. Her talents were many, and she approached each endeavor with passion and creativity. After completing high school and two years of junior college, Elizabeth dedicated herself to supporting Jimmie as he pursued his dream of becoming a physician. With a selfless spirit, she worked tirelessly—at times juggling five jobs—to ensure they could avoid student loans and build a future together.
When they opened their medical practice in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Elizabeth became the heart of the operation, managing everything from patient scheduling to office management. Her organizational skills and warm demeanor created a welcoming environment for all who entered. Later, she pursued her passion for helping others by becoming educated and trained in physical therapy, where her compassion and expertise made a lasting impact on many lives.
Elizabeth and Jimmie spent every day together since their marriage, sharing simple yet profound moments, such as sitting on the couch each night, hand in hand, watching their favorite shows. Their love was evident in the way they cherished each other; Elizabeth’s hobby was Jimmie, and Jimmie’s hobby was Elizabeth.
A gifted artist, Elizabeth had a natural talent for drawing and story writing, but her true passion lay in sewing. She could create anything her heart desired, often crafting her own patterns when none were available. Her creativity knew no bounds, and her family will forever treasure the beautiful pieces she made with love.
Elizabeth also had a fondness for her morning coffee, delighting in her instant coffee, much to the playful chagrin of her daughters. These small joys were a reflection of her vibrant spirit and the warmth she brought to those around her.
Elizabeth Mae Beck leaves behind her devoted husband, Jimmie; their five children, sons James Beck and Jason Beck (Reagan); daughters Charlotte Farr (William), Regina Underwood (Michael), and Jennifer Dyer (Kenneth); 17 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren, and her sister Minnie Young (Tom), and many friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
A celebration of Elizabeth’s life will be held on 5/16/25 at 12:30 p.m. at Floral Haven in Broken Arrow, OK.
Elizabeth’s legacy of love, creativity, and unwavering faith will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed, but her light will forever shine in the hearts of those she touched.
