My only sister/sister in law has passed. Liz was one of those teachers you never forget. She positively influenced hundreds of students in the Broken Arrow/ Oklahoma area and then again influenced their children as well. She was funny, intelligent, quick witted and always kind to me. She was my favorite relative and I will truly miss her. If you want to learn more about her positive influence on others you can go to her face book page. I will miss your unique personality and your generous kindness to me. Bless you for all you have done and all of your teaching/caring energy. You inculcated a specific, one of a kind energy into the souls of others. Bless you for that. Your loving real influence will last forever and will silently be handed down for generations to come. I knew Liz & Jim nearly 50 years ago when they lived in Janesville, Wisconsin. We had our oldest boys 2 days apart. We went up to Eagle River on vacation together when our boys were little. We kept in touch through Christmas letters and Facebook. My thoughts are with the boys now, you lost your parents, two very special people. Terry and Jan Keele

I know of no other educator that has impacted her students' lives as much as you. And if each one could take a small part of a lesson you demonstrated or a bit of advice or guidance you imparted, they will forever be blessed. There was no doubt that education was your calling and that your gifts in this world were genuine and bestowed on many UHS students. Mrs. Beeman was an amazing teacher, and I am so happy I got to have her as a teacher. She made class fun, and I was able to talk in front of others and come out of my shell. I hate that you are gone, but I'm happy I got to know you. You will be forever missed Mrs. Beeman.

Mrs. Beeman was a amazing teacher! I loved going to her class! I was a shy girl that was scared of talking in front of people, but because of her and everything that she has taught me, I am now comfortable talking in front of others. She was a big part of my high school year and I am so happy that I had her as one of my teacher. She will be miss by so many people!
Very few individuals leave such a legacy of love and learning like Liz has done. Her students LOVED her and her connection with them will last for generations as they share their memories of their favorite teacher. She will be missed but remembered.
