Today we laid to rest the most amazing mother I could ever ask for. She touched the hearts and lives of all who crossed her path. I will never know anyone again who will compare to her and love me so unconditionally. She wished peace, happiness ans success for us all. The pain we feel today is for the loss we feel in this life for ourselves. Mom is back with dad and one day we will all be together again in heaven. I am thankful that her suffering has ended. I feel an emptiness in my days that were once filled with my mother and best friend and pray that the wonderful memories I have of her will soon help fill some of that void. I can only pray that I will live up to even just a portion of the example she gave us. Thank you God for giving us such a wonderful mother and grandmother to love and guide us.
