Roberts, Elizabeth Marie's Obituary
Elizabeth Marie Roberts was born on May 1, 1962 in Sand Springs, OK, the second daughter to Allen and Edith (Crawford) Roberts. She went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 17, 2025, at the age of 62 after recently rededicating her life to Him. She brought joy to the family and to all who knew her.
Elizabeth graduated from Charles Page High School as valedictorian in May, 1980. She began working at Kerr Glass while still in high school and continued until they closed in 1984. She then found employment with Gunnebo-Johnson and worked there until KWS, Inc. was started in 1995. She was one of the original employees and had worked there for 30 years. She returned to school during her tenure at KWS, Inc. and received her Associates Degree in Business Administration from TCC in 2003 and a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Accounting from NSU Broken Arrow in 2010.
Family was definitely the most important aspect of her life. Her eyes would light up when the children came to visit. She would organize our Christmas get togethers and buy gifts throughout the year and then forget what all she had bought. She always brought “extra” gifts for a “free” table at Christmas. She usually adopted a child from the angel tree as well. She was the most giving person I have ever known.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her mother, Edith Roberts, and a brother, Wayne Allen Roberts. She is survived by her dad and stepmom, Allen and Geraldine Roberts of Sand Springs, sisters, Phyllis (Glen) Polnack of Mulberry, KS, Kim (Cliff) Hewitt of Kellyville, brother, Tim (Susan) Roberts of Bella Vista, AR. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews who she loved as her own; Josh (Amanda) Hewitt of Sand Springs, Sam (Adria) Hewitt of Broken Arrow, DeAnna (Nathan) Tabor of Evening Shade, AR, Kayelyn Polnack of Mulberry, KS, Kristen (Ethan) Bernard of Duncan, OK, Joanna (Sheldon) Jones of Roanoke, TX, Emilie and TJ Roberts, both of Bella Vista, AR. She is also survived by 18 (with another on the way) great nieces and nephews as well as a host of other family and friends. She also leaves behind her beloved Maltese, Felix. She loved him and he was her constant companion until she became ill.
The family would like to express their appreciation to each other first and foremost for being there for Elizabeth throughout her illness. We also want to express our thanks to Louanne Shelton, a great friend of Elizabeth’s, who was a great help during this journey and Stepmom Geraldine for loving and caring for Felix and giving him a home for the future. We also want to thank Compassus Hospice for their care during the last days.
