Ella Loretta Anderson's Obituary
Ella Loretta Anderson, age 92, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa. Loretta was retired and previously worked in the Marion County Treasurer’s office in Salem, Illinois before finishing her career at Seismograph Service Corporation in Tulsa.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at the Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
Survivors include son, Steven Anderson, and wife, Vicki, of San Antonio, Texas; and daughter, Janet Mullins of Tulsa, Oklahoma; grandsons: William Mullins; Brett Mullins and partner, Daniel Frost; Zach Anderson and fiancée, Megan Scrimpsher; granddaughter: Caitlin Tafolla and husband, Robert; great-granddaughter, Katelyn Mullins, and great-grandson, Preston Tafolla; sisters: Rosie Gragg of Manvel, Texas; and Julia Williams and husband, Jock, of Perth, Australia; sisters-in-law: Cleo Kapilla of Valdosta, Georgia; Rosemary Alter and husband, Doug, of Escondido, California; brother-in-law: Richard Anderson of Memphis, Tennessee; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Loretta was born on December 5, 1929 in Earlsboro, Oklahoma to James Bartley and Julia L (Sheets) Burleyson. She married Wayne Arthur Anderson on September 4, 1948 at Mt. Moriah Christian Church in Centralia, Illinois. Loretta was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; sisters: Frances Kell, Amy Siracuse, and Peggy Knox; and brother, Dennis Burleyson.
