Ella Ray Rodden's Obituary
Ella Ray “Tommie” Rodden passed from this life on January 18, 2023. She was born February 4, 1929, in Osage County to Mattie Marvella Herd Rodden and Raymond Rodden. She was 93 years 11 months and 14 days old.
Ella Ray worked many years for BBC office Equipment until they closed. She worked for Tulsa Transit until she retired. After retirement she volunteered in the Upper Room at Grace Lutheran Church. She loved to sew and collect fabrics. You could put her to the challenge to make anything.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters: Rachel Rodden, Marie Ford, and Irene Ketchem; brothers: Clarence and Bert; Son: Jim Valliere; daughters: Sue Valliere and special friend Harland Cooper.
She is survived by her brother Cecil of Catoosa, OK; son: Steve Robertson of Broken Arrow; daughter-in-law: Naomi Valliere of Broken Arrow and caregiver Danna Jones of Broken Arrow; grandchildren: Mike Valliere of Broken Arrow, Jimmy Valliere (Janet) of Broken Arrow, Jammi Bjornsgaard (Jordan) Kim Dill, Linda Sieghman, Brian Dill of Tulsa, Ok, Barbie Giangreco (Mike) of Broken Arrow, Katie Robertson of Tulsa, 17 great grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Tuesday at the Grace Lutheran Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
