Ellen Kay Stewart, born on July 27, 1945, peacefully passed away at home surrounded by her family and loved ones on June 14, 2024, at 1:43 AM. Ellen was a devoted and godly woman, deeply loved by her family and cherished by her church community.
Ellen was predeceased by her beloved son, Todd Ryon, and her parents, Max L. and Floriene Steed She is survived by her sister, Gail & brother-in-law Johnny Miller, her brother Max & sister-in-law, Roberta Steed. Both from TX.
Ellen's legacy of faith and encouragement lives on through her children: David & wife, Lorie, from Broken Arrow, Gail & husband, Tom, from Virginia; Steven from Broken Arrow, Jill from Texas; and Jerry from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
Her grandchildren—Tyler & wife Piper, Erin & husband Ryan, McKenzie, Robert, Kayla, Karie & husband Cole, Zachary, Savannah & husband Alex, Jake and wife McKenna, Casey & wife Fantasia, Joshua, Jenna & husband and Ellen—will forever hold her memory in their hearts. Ellen also leaves behind 19 great-grandchildren, who brought her immense joy and pride- Kinslee, Wyatt, Kaden, Constance, Hayden, Hunter, Harless, Charlie, Paul, Eli, Payton, Parker, Olivia, Hayden, Charlotte, Ford, Carsyn, Stella and Boaz.
Ellen's unwavering faith and loving spirit touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be remembered for her devotion to her family and her church, always offering a word of encouragement and a faithful heart. Her memory will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.
A memorial services will be held to celebrate Ellen's life and her journey home to be with the Lord. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to her beloved church in her memory.
