Ellis Rex Baugh's Obituary
Ellis Rex Baugh, a resident of Wagoner and former resident of Tulsa, passed away on August 30, 2022, at the age of 99. He was born on January 31, 1923, in Rogers, Texas to Doctor Othello Baugh and Alma Lucinda Baugh (Presley). Rex joined the U.S. Navy in June of 1942, and eventually retired from his services as a Chief Petty Officer in June of 1964. After his retirement from the Navy Rex went to work and later retired as a Building Superintendent for First National Bank in Tulsa. Rex married the love of his life, Patricia E. Baugh (Pray), and the couple was married for 71 years until her passing in 2017. When he wasn't working he enjoyed woodworking, glass-working, leather-tooling; and more recently Rex enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and coloring ornate photos. He will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
Rex was preceded in passing by his parents, Doctor Othello and Alma Lucinda Baugh; his beloved wife, Patricia E. Baugh; his daughter, Dianne Baugh Fisher; his sister, Aleene Reagan, sister, Pauline Tupman, and sister, Thelma Snyder.
Rex is survived by his son, Brett Baugh, and wife, Debra; grandchildren, Craig Fisher and wife, Kim; Kara Younce and husband, Franklin; great-grandchildren, Christopher Fisher, Braxton Younce, and Grayson Younce; his sister, Patsy Scarbrough, and husband, James; and numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends that he loved dearly.
Visitation will be 5-7 pm, Thursday, September 1, 2022, at Floral Haven Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be 3:00 pm, Friday, September 2, 2022, at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel
