Ellis was a fun friend. I remember when Mary met him, he was the “cats meow”. I was so happy for her. He was so good to her and they had such great times. We would set and visit and talk about just about anything and everything.I will always remember all the wonderful vegetables from his massive garden. Through all the Oklahoma heat, had no idea how he did it. I would stop by and collect all I could. Ellis and Mary and I would set in their little covered patio and chat while my little dog ran around the yard or set in my lap. There was nothing better than the fresh grown. And, they were grown with such great love and care.He will be missed. Always had a wonderful smile on his face and a laugh to go with the smile. He just got to Heaven before the rest of us.My prayers are with you, Mary, and the family.
