Elmer Leroy Bell's Obituary
Elmer “Leroy” Bell was born June 6, 1931 in Spur, Texas and was raised in Texas and Arkansas. He married Amelia “Molly” Ortega on August 21, 1965. He retired from Ivy’s Floor Covering in 2002. Leroy was preceded in death by his daughter Cindy Crandall, his little dog Tina Bell, grandson Bruce Andrew Clary, parents Earl & Ruth Bell and Thelma & Obie Nunley, brothers Floyd Bell, Burl Bell, and Donnie Bell, and sisters Earline Patton and Margaret Moore. He is survived by his wife Molly of the home in Broken Arrow, daughters Glenda Rogers of Tulsa, Brenda Boyd and her husband Paul of Abilene Texas, and Teresa Petersen and her husband Paul of Richwood Texas, 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Also survived by sisters Marie, Patsy,and Vicky, brothers Lonnie and Danny and many nieces and nephews all of Texas. He was very well loved by all of his wife’s family, including many nieces and nephews. Leroy took great pride and joy in his work as a talented carpet installer. He was a quiet guy who loved to be surrounded by friends and loved ones. He loved listening to music, taking walks with his beloved wife and their little dog, as well as going camping and fishing.
