Dearest Debbie, Diane, Deanne and Families: I wanted to express my condolence on the loss of your father. I know well the pain of losing a father, and mother in death and the hole it leaves in your life. How many times I have wanted to pick up the phone and call them, but AT&T doesn’t cover that call…. But Almighty God does! When Jesus was on earth he performed numerous resurrections, awakening individuals from death, as easily as you would wake up a sleeping child. (Luke 7:12 – 15; John 11:17 – 27 & 38 – 44; Luke 8:41, 42 & 49 – 56). In fact, in the forgoing Bible verses Jesus repeatedly likens death to sleep. Jesus, having been given ‘all authority in heaven and on earth’ ( Matthew 28:18) will soon exercise his authority over death by raising our loved ones back to life here on earth just as easily as you would awaken a sleeping child. (Acts 24:15 & John 5:28, 29)….. This is a promise from Almighty God, who does not lie (Titus 1:2)
