Eloise Jane Keeter, 66, of Claremore, Oklahoma, passed away on February 6, 2026. She was born on December 12, 1959, in Tulsa to James W. and Eva Louise (Dodson) Doss. Eloise grew up in Inola, where she graduated from Inola High School. During her school years, she was an active and spirited member of the marching band as a baton twirler and played clarinet in the concert band—early signs of the dedication and heart she would bring to everything she touched.
Eloise lived a life defined by service, compassion, and hard work. She served her community as a volunteer firefighter for Collinsville and later as a dispatcher for the Collinsville Police Department. She also worked at Reasor’s, where her warmth and reliability made a lasting impression on coworkers and customers alike.
Her life took a joyful turn when she met Bobby on a dating site; their first in‑person meeting was a bowling date in Sapulpa. The connection was instant and enduring. They married on June 26, 2008, beginning a partnership filled with love, humor, and unwavering support.
Eloise was a proud member of the Blue Star Mothers and poured her creativity and patriotism into crafting Memorial Day flowers. She had a lifelong love of horses and spent time working as a stable hand as a racehorse caretaker—work that brought her deep fulfillment and peace.
Eloise is survived by her loving husband, Bobby Keeter; her son, Aaron Tremain; her mother, Eva Louise Doss; and her brother, James Doss. She was preceded in death by her father, James Doss.
Her family will receive visitors from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at Floral Haven Funeral Home. A funeral service honoring Eloise’s life will be held at 12:30 PM on Monday, February 16, 2026, at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel, followed by a committal service at Floral Haven Memorial Garden, Garden of Devotion.
Eloise will be remembered for her generous spirit, her devotion to family and community, and the quiet strength she carried throughout her life. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
