I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. He was a nice man. I knew him at Baker. My condolences to the family.
My first memory of Elra was when Uncle Harry leaned into our car window while we were in Mooreland to announce that their new baby was a boy. He said they were going to name him Elra Lynn Stine. He had always liked the name Elra, and as the conversation continued I learned that he was naming him after Elra and Lynn Beutler, two of the brothers who owned the Beutler Bros. Rodeo Stock Co.
As I understand it, Elra Beutler was one of the most respected men in Rodeo, and that indicates how proud Harry and Emilienne were of Elra. Although, Elra’s area of expertise was in mechanics, he was highly respected for his work work as well. He will be missed.
