Elsie Marie Billingsly's Obituary
Marie, as she preferred to be called, peacefully passed away surrounded by her family and loved ones, Monday, October 20, 2014 after a catastrophic stroke. She was born to Julous and Marie Wolter on April 11, 1921 in the Logan Township of Minnesota, the seventh of seven daughters, Ann Fisher, Lydia Ristow, Margaret Whetstone, Edna Gebhardt, Elise McCall, and Ethel Fillmore. Marie is survived by son, Eddie Billingsly, daughters, Wanda Cozort and her husband M.O. and Jean Ashbrook; Seven Grandchildren, Rickey Edmoundson and wife Laura, Mark Edmoundson and wife Brenda, Shelly Travers, J.T. Billingsly, Paul Billingsly and wife Elizabeth, Brian Billingsly, and Brittany Billingsly; Ten Great Grandchildren, Jacob Edmoundson, Ellias Edmoundson, Gracy Ann Edmoundson, Nicholas Edmoundson, Gillian Edmoundson, Dawn Travers, Robert Travers, Anna Travers, Samuel Billingsly, and Jaden Billingsly. Marie was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years John Edward Billingsly, on November 28, 1994. Visitation will be at Floral Haven, 6500 South 129th East Ave, Broken Arrow, on Thursday, October 23rd, from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with the family being in attendance at 6:00 pm. Funeral Service will be on Friday, October 24th, at 12:30 pm, Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel, Broken Arrow.
