Elsie Merle Oyler's Obituary
Our hearts are heavy as we share the passing of our dear Elsie Merle Oyler, who was born on November 17th, 1932, in Oklahoma, and left us on December 20th, 2024, in Broken Arrow, OK. Elsie married the love of her life, Claude Oyler on February 23rd, 1952.
Elsie had a deep love for the outdoors, and we will always remember the joy she found at the lake. She brought laughter and light to our lives through square dancing and lively games of bridge. Though she was a wonderful cook, she often chuckled about how much she disliked it.
For 15 years, Elsie was a cherished member of her church community at Asbury. Her honesty, compassion, and kindness touched us all deeply. She worked as support staff in the public school system, where she shared her warmth and caring nature with many.
Her favorite times were those under the open sky, embracing the outdoor activities that brought her so much happiness.
Elsie is survived by a large host of cherished family members and friends. She is reunited in heaven with her husband Claude Oyler.
We will miss Elsie's bright spirit and loving heart every day. As we gather to celebrate her life, we hold onto the precious memories she left us.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Ceremony will be held at the Floral Haven Rose Chapel on December 27th, 2024, at 2:00 PM.
