Emil Anatolyevich Stepanyan (Эмиль Анатольевич Степанян) was born in Moscow, Russia on August 30, 1995, and departed this world from Norman, Oklahoma on June 17, 2024. Emil touched the lives of many with his vibrant soul and free-spirited nature. He truly never met a stranger and had the ability to connect with anyone he ever crossed paths with.
Emil moved to the United States with his loving mother, Ella, on September 23, 2003, and they made their home in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Emil graduated from Edison High School in 2015, creating many fond memories and lifelong friendships along the way.
In October 2023, Emil moved to Oklahoma City, where he embraced new adventures. He was a devoted fan of OU football and Oklahoma City Thunder games, often sharing his excitement with friends and family. Emil found joy in the simple pleasures of life—fishing by serene lakes, exploring new places through travel, and hiking in nature. His Saturday night cookouts were a testament to his love for gathering his family and friends and creating unforgettable moments.
Emil's heart was full of love for his loyal dogs, Beau and Coco, who brought him endless happiness. Emil was a bold force in this world and he will be forever missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
Emil is survived by his devoted mother, Ella Marrs, his stepfather, Clint Marrs, his girlfriend, Lin as well as many other extended family members and friends that love him dearly. Emil's warmth, kindness, and adventurous spirit touched the lives of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love.
A public visitation will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2024, from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM for anyone wishing to come and pay respects to Emil and his family. Visitation will be held at Floral Haven Funeral Home: 6500 S 129th E Ave, Broken Arrow, OK 74012.
Anyone wishing to send flowers for the service may do so by ordering through our website or by calling our in-house florist: Floral Designs by Floral Haven at (918) 459-1525. Any independent florists may deliver flowers directly to Floral Haven Funeral Home by 3:00 PM on Thursday, June 27, 2024, in order for them to be set out and properly displayed for Emil's visitation.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service to honor the life of Emil will be held at 12:30 PM on Friday, June 28, 2024, at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel, located at 6500 S 129th E Ave, Broken Arrow, OK 74012, with Pastor James Lacey officiating.
