Emmitt Ray Rambo's Obituary
Emmitt Ray Rambo, 83, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; passed away on Friday, July 7, 2017 at Clare Bridge: Brookedale Assisted Living. He is survived by his wife 64 years, Florence Elizabeth (Gibson) Rambo; his Daughter’s, Charlotte Bagley and her husband Eddie, Judy Cartwright and her husband Sherman, Cheryl Burnes and her husband Joe. His brother’s Pete Rambo and Harold Rambo. His sister Marie Harris. ten grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. Also, numerous family members and extend family and friends. He was born and raised in Savana, Oklahoma on June 19, 1934, the son of Olan & Fannie Rambo. He was a Jack of all trades, Farmer, mechanic, logger, heavy duty equipment operator, Ferrier, Racehorse owner and trainer. He enjoyed flying airplanes, collecting and shooting guns, driving his tractors with his grandchildren and getting them Slurpee’s and ice cream and raising horses. Mr. Rambo was a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge #15 Wasco, Oregan; Honorary Member Catoosa Lodge #185. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Olan and Fannie Rambo; son, Kim Evan Rambo; brother’s, Sam & Red Rambo; sister, Alice Duffy; great granddaughter, Rylee Cartwright.
